Fender - 1969 - Telecaster
Fender - 1969 - Telecaster
This guitar is in very good/excellent condition with a minor amount of play wear throughout the body, and is all original. The frets have been dressed, but have plenty of life left in them. Additionally, the guitar has had the pickups rewound at some point, unsure of when.
The Fender Telecaster originated in the early 1950s, developed by Leo Fender and his team at Fender Musical Instruments Corporation. Initially named the "Broadcaster," it was one of the first mass-produced solid-body electric guitars designed for professional musicians. The unique single-cutaway body shape and simple, pragmatic design allowed for improved sustain and resonance compared to hollow-body guitars. Its construction included a bolt-on neck, which made repairs and modifications easier. Renaming it the Telecaster after a trademark issue, it quickly gained popularity in various music genres, becoming a staple instrument known for its bright tone and rugged reliability. Over the decades, the Telecaster has influenced countless artists, solidifying its status as one of the most iconic guitars in music history.
The guitar does have a period correct case it comes with as well, but it appears as if the case was originally for a Strat. If you have any questions, feel free to let us know!
