At Lidgett Music, we take pride in offering high-end and vintage instruments and strive to ensure every customer is satisfied with their purchase. Due to the nature of our products, we maintain the following policy to protect both our customers and our business.

72-Hour Approval Period

Customers are provided a 72-hour approval period from the time of delivery to evaluate their purchase. This period allows the instrument to acclimate to its new environment and be inspected.

If you wish to initiate a return, you must contact us within this 72-hour window. Requests made after this period will not be accepted.

Return Authorization Required

All returns must be approved in advance by Lidgett Music.

Returns sent without prior authorization will be refused.

Return Shipping Requirements

Once a return is approved:

The item must be shipped within 3 days of receiving the return shipping label
The item must be securely packed using the original packaging
The customer is responsible for ensuring the item is properly packed and insured

Lidgett Music is not responsible for damage caused by improper packaging during return shipment.

Condition of Returned Items

All returned items must be in resalable condition, meaning:

The item must be in the exact same condition as when it was received
No additional wear, damage, or alterations
All original packaging, tags, and materials must be included

Items that do not meet these requirements may be refused or subject to additional deductions.

Refund Deductions

Approved returns will be refunded minus applicable costs, including:

Original shipping costs
Return shipping costs
Payment processing fees (3%)

These deductions reflect the actual costs incurred in completing and reversing the transaction.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable:

Picks
Strings
Harmonicas
Batteries
Previously installed pickups
Pickup installation labor
Any item not in resalable condition

Shipping Issues

If there is an issue with shipping (such as delays or service errors), please contact us immediately.

If expedited shipping was paid for and not fulfilled correctly, we will review and address that portion of the order accordingly.

Gift Cards

All gift cards issued by Lidgett Music are non-refundable and non-returnable.

Gift cards are treated as cash equivalents and cannot be redeemed for cash, except where required by law. Once a gift card has been purchased and delivered (including digital delivery via email), the transaction is considered final.

Lidgett Music is not responsible for lost, stolen, or unauthorized use of gift cards. Customers are responsible for safeguarding their gift card information.

We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or replacements for gift cards under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

Accidental purchases
Incorrect recipient information provided at the time of purchase
Claims of unauthorized transfer after delivery

In the event of suspected fraud, Lidgett Music reserves the right to:

Cancel or void gift cards at our sole discretion
Refuse issuance of gift cards
Delay fulfillment of gift card orders pending verification

Orders flagged as high-risk by our fraud detection systems may be canceled without notice.

If a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated on a gift card purchase, Lidgett Music reserves the right to:

Void the associated gift card(s), whether used or unused
Deny future purchases
Provide all documentation to the payment processor to dispute the claim

By purchasing a gift card from Lidgett Music, you agree to these terms.

Chargebacks & Disputes

If a chargeback is initiated, Lidgett Music will provide full documentation to the payment processor, including proof of delivery, customer communication, and policy acknowledgment.

We reserve the right to dispute any chargeback that does not align with our stated policies.
