Boss RE-2 Space Echo is a compact digital delay pedal that delivers the legendary tone and multi-head tape behavior of the 1974 Roland RE-201 in a pedalboard-ready format.
This pedal recreates the iconic Space Echo experience with an 11-position mode selector that mimics the original 3-head tape configuration, letting you dial in classic multi-head delay patterns with or without integrated vintage spring reverb. Concentric dual-knob controls maximize functionality in minimal footprint—managing Echo Level/Reverb Level, Intensity/Tone, and Repeat Rate/Wow & Flutter simultaneously.
The dedicated Wow & Flutter control adds natural tape modulation and mechanical wear characteristics that define the RE-201 sound. True stereo I/O supports full stereo rigs, making it ideal for stereo guitar setups, keyboards, or studio work. A rear-panel Carryover (trails) switch lets delays fade naturally when bypassed, while tap tempo via the main footswitch keeps you locked in with your band.
