The Ceriatone Overtone Special HRM 100 is another unique Ceriatone perspective on classic American high-gain tone.
The Overtone Special HRM is a version of a particular circuit iteration. These amps are commonly referred to as “HRM”, which is a tip of the hat to hot-rodded British guitar tones.
HRM amps have an internal adjustable tonestack (treble, middle, bass) for the overdrive channel. This allows the player to fine tune gain tone to their liking. Also unique to the HRM amplifier, each channel has it’s own independent Master Volume control.
These amplifiers generally sound more aggressive than their non-HRM counterparts, especially when the Preamp Boost is engaged.
Like other OTS amps, we have labored carefully to select the finest components to suit the design. As with all Ceriatone amplifiers, it uses our specially designed, custom transformers for superior reliability, frequency response, and feel."

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
