Collings 620 SM LC in Dark Cherry Sunburst (Pre-Owned)

The Collings 620 SM LC is a premium, fully hollow electric guitar meticulously handmade by Collings Guitars in Austin, Texas. Designed as a more touch-sensitive, open, and resonant successor to previous thinline architectures, it captures a brilliant blend of vintage mid-century soul and modern luthier accuracy.

A pre-owned model finished in the striking Dark Cherry Sunburst (serial 25041) represents a highly coveted iteration of this recent model release. This configuration offers collectors and players an excellent opportunity to acquire premium timber without extended factory wait times.

Core Specifications & Design Elements

Body & Construction: Fully hollow build featuring a parallel trestle brace system designed to maximize organic resonance and wood depth while successfully curbing unwanted feedback at higher stage volumes.

Premium Tone Woods: Constructed utilizing a custom-laminated maple top, back, and sides paired with a solid maple neck and a silky 12"-radius ebony fingerboard.

Body Dimensions: Features a 15" body width and a 1 7/8" body depth—a quarter-inch deeper than Collings' standard thinline platforms, yielding an increased acoustic footprint.

Electronics & Voice: Driven by highly expressive custom-voiced Righteous Sound Diadem Pickups. The neck configuration implements a vintage-spec Staple P90 for glassy articulation, while the hybrid bridge blends elements of P90 and '70s Wide Range architectures.

Hardware Accents: Outfitted with an iconic Bigsby vibrato tailpiece, a pinned ebony bridge base with nylon saddles (reminiscent of mid-'60s appointments), vintage-style Davies Radio knobs, and an unmistakable "Flipped Haircut" peghead profile.
