The Collings I-35 LC Iced Tea Burst is a semi-hollow electric guitar built for discerning players who demand authentic tone and meticulous craftsmanship. Its maple laminate body and spruce center block deliver the classic semi-hollow warmth and sustain, while the Honduran mahogany neck with extra-long mortise and tenon joinery ensures exceptional stability and resonance.
Finished in a striking Iced Tea Burst with high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, this instrument combines vintage aesthetics with modern playability. The rosewood fingerboard features mother-of-pearl long dots and a comfortable 12" radius, while the 24 7/8" scale length and 1 11/16" nut provide balanced ergonomics across the neck.
At the heart of the I-35 LC lies a pair of Lollar Low Wind Imperial Humbuckers paired with CTS 500K pots and Jupiter Vintage Yellow capacitors, delivering thick, musical tones from bluesy jazz chords to articulate lead work. Kluson ABR-1 bridge and Stop Tailpiece hardware, combined with Gotoh tuners, ensure reliable tuning stability and vintage-correct aesthetics.
The haircut peghead with ebony veneer and mother-of-pearl Collings logo, 50s-style wiring, medium nickel-silver frets, and ivoroid body and fingerboard binding complete a guitar built to last generations. Includes deluxe hardshell case and D'Addario NYXL strings.
