Collings OM2H 1 3/4 nut

Collings OM2H 1 3/4 Nut Orchestra Model Acoustic Guitar

The Collings OM2H is a modern Orchestra Model acoustic guitar featuring a balanced design suited for fingerstyle soloists and flatpickers. The OM body shape, developed over 80 years ago, combines a shallow body (just over 4 inches deep) with a 14-fret neck design to deliver balanced tone, responsive note attack, and dynamic range.

Specifications:
Top Wood: Solid Sitka Spruce
Back & Sides: East Indian Rosewood
Neck Material: Honduran Mahogany with Modified V profile
Nut Width: 1 3/4"
Bracing: Pre-war scalloped X-brace
Appointments: Ivoroid binding, herringbone top purfling, 2-style "zipper" backstrip

Tonal Character:
The standard OM2H produces bright highs, tight low end response, and extended dynamic headroom. This voicing emphasizes clarity and note separation across the frequency range. The guitar performs well for studio tracking and fingerstyle playing.

Ultra-thin nitro lacquer, lighter bracing, and a traditional rounded neck profile for a warmer, more open tonal character.
