Much of the Hummingbird’s appeal lies in its versatility. Now, Epiphone, in collaboration with Gibson Custom, is proud to introduce the 1960 Hummingbird Reissue, an Inspired by Gibson Custom recreation of those iconic first-year Hummingbirds. This gorgeous acoustic guitar has a thermally aged solid spruce top that is reinforced with traditional scalloped X-bracing made from quarter-sawn, solid spruce. The back and sides of the 1960 Hummingbird Reissue are made from solid mahogany. It delivers a warm, rich tone overall that works extraordinarily well in a wide range of musical styles. The one-piece, thermally-aged, 24.75” scale mahogany neck has a Rounded profile that is capped with a bound rosewood fretboard that is outfitted with 20 standard frets and adorned with mother-of-pearl split parallelogram inlays."
