Fender Custom Shop '59 Special Stratocaster Journeyman Relic – Super Faded Sonic Blue, Pre-Owned In Excellent condition with original hardshell case COA and other contents. 

This Fender Custom Shop '59 Special Stratocaster pairs a Super Faded Sonic Blue finish with a distinctive mix of vintage-inspired details and player-focused appointments. The shop floor traveler specifies a sorted two-piece alder body, a '56 Strat body style, deep body contours, and a lacquer finish with heavy checking, giving this Journeyman Relic build plenty of broken-in character.

The AAA flame-maple neck features a '59 Esquire C profile and a flat-lam rosewood fingerboard. A 9.5-inch radius and 21 jumbo 6100 frets offer room for expressive bends, while the heavily relic'd neck back, specified with no paint from the first through twelfth fret, adds to the well-played feel. The traveler lists neck depths of .790 inch at the first fret and .980 inch at the twelfth.

A trio of hand-wound Poblano Strat pickups is paired with five-way switching and Strat Blender wiring with the Greasebucket/Saver configuration noted on the traveler. The middle pickup is reverse-wound/reverse-polarity. An American Vintage Strat bridge and vintage-style tuners with Fender logos complete a build that brings vintage character to a versatile Strat platform.
