A two-piece mahogany body measures approximately 1.375 inches thick, recreating the slimmer design of the 1971 model. The three-piece mahogany neck features an authentic 1971 Flying V profile and a period-correct volute, paired with a one-piece rosewood fingerboard and 22 reissue medium jumbo frets.

Two unpotted T-Top humbuckers with Alnico 5 magnets deliver the bright, powerful character associated with the original pickups.
