This Gibson USA SG ’61 Maestro pairs the fast, comfortable feel of an early-’60s SG with distinctive ’68-style appointments. Its mahogany body and ’61 Slim Taper mahogany neck are finished in Ebony Gloss, complemented by a rosewood fingerboard, gold hardware, black Witch Hat knobs, and a large SG pickguard.
Two Gibson T-Type humbuckers deliver a punchy, articulate voice, shaped by handwired controls with Orange Drop capacitors. The Maestro Vibrola adds expressive shimmer and classic styling. Additional features include a long-tenon neck joint, 24.75-inch scale, 22 frets, Graph Tech nut, ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, Kluson-style vintage tuners, and two volume and two tone controls with a three-way switch.
This pre-owned guitar is in excellent condition and includes its original Gibson hardshell case.
