Sterling by Music Man StingRay RAY34 Roasted Maple Firemist Silver Pre-Owned

The bass is in excellent condition and comes with its original protective gig bag.

"The Sterling by Music Man StingRay RAY34 with a roasted maple neck delivers the signature punch, clarity, and foundational low-end power of the iconic Ernie Ball Music Man StingRay design. The roasting process removes moisture from the wood, helping improve neck stability and resistance to climate shifts while providing a smooth feel across the fretboard.

• Neck & Fingerboard: 34-inch scale roasted maple neck with a 9.5-inch radius, 43mm nut width, and 21 medium frets.
• Electronics: Single high-output Alnico humbucker wired in series, paired with a 9-volt active 3-band preamp with Volume, Treble, Mid, and Bass controls.
• Hardware: Heavy-duty bridge modeled after the classic Ernie Ball Music Man design, open-gear tuners, and a dual-action truss rod adjustment wheel at the base of the neck.

Tone and Performance

The core identity of the RAY34 centers around its Alnico pickup and onboard 3-band EQ. Adjust the individual frequencies to shape tones ranging from deep, vintage-style low end to bright, mid-forward slap and rock sounds. The series-wired humbucker delivers a dense tone designed to cut through a live or studio mix."
