The Taylor 354ce Studio Special Edition is a sophisticated 12-string acoustic-electric guitar built on the versatile Grand Auditorium body shape. Featuring a torrefied spruce top paired with solid sapele back and sides, this instrument delivers an immersive natural chorus effect with strong midrange warmth and impressive projection.
Taylor's V-Class bracing architecture maximizes volume, sustain, and pitch accuracy across the fingerboard, ensuring note clarity despite the complex harmonics of a 12-string configuration. The torrefaction process adds aged-in sweetness and maturity, capturing the sound of a well-broken-in instrument from day one.
The satin-finished Neo-Tropical mahogany neck features Taylor's Standard Carve with a 1-7/8" nut width, 25-1/2" scale length, and West African Crelicam ebony fingerboard with 20 frets for responsive, comfortable playability.
Aesthetically, the guitar showcases an artfully sprayed gloss Honey Sunburst top finish, black binding, Italian acrylic faux pearl dot inlays, and a faux-tortoiseshell pickguard. Taylor Nickel Mini tuning machines ensure reliable tuning stability.
The award-winning Expression System 2 (ES2) pickup system delivers natural, balanced amplified tone. Includes premium gig bag or deluxe hardshell case depending on dealer allocation.
